TIPTON COUNTY TENNESSEE RACISM

CORRUPTION AND RACISM INSIDE THE TIPTON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

NOT SERVING-NOT PROTECTING AND SURELY NOT CARING WHEN IT COMES TO BLACK PEOPLE PROPERTY

DEPUTY CHIEF DONNA TURNER LIES TO ROBBERY VICTIM CONCERNING CAPTURE OF FELON JAMES LESTER LOGAN

On February 24, 2009, at 2:52 pm, Chief Donna Turner placed a call to Mr. Gooden to discuss an Email that was sent to the Tipton County Sheriff Department. The content of the email raised concerns about allegations of racism and corruption within the department, specifically highlighting a case involving James Logan. Mr. Logan, a convicted felon who had been placed under house arrest, had reportedly fled the State of Tennessee to Florida, despite being under the supervision of Tipton County authorities.

During the conversation, Chief Turner expressed an interest in apprehending James Logan in Florida and bringing him back to Tennessee to face justice. However, it was brought to her attention that Mr. Logan had recently contacted the victim, Mr. Gooden, bragging about how the Tipton County Sheriff’s Department had allegedly informed him that he could leave the state without consequence. Furthermore, Mr. Logan boasted about how he had no intention of fulfilling the court-ordered restitution payment of $2,000.

Chief Turner pretended to seek the phone number and address of Mr. Logan from Mr. Gooden, suggesting a desire to assist in capturing him. However, it is important to note that if the intention were indeed to bring him to justice, issuing a warrant through the national system would have been a more appropriate course of action, especially since the authorities were already aware of his location in Florida.

It has come to light that James Logan has been arrested multiple times in Florida since fleeing from his house arrest in Tennessee. Most recently, he was arrested on July 1st on charges of battery and subsequently released on bond. In an effort to contribute to the pursuit of justice, Mr. Gooden personally contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department in Florida and informed them of the outstanding warrant for Mr. Logan from Tipton County. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that they would need an active warrant in the system in order to take action and detain Mr. Logan for extradition.

It is important for law enforcement agencies to demonstrate sincerity in their efforts to bring individuals to justice, especially when they are implicated in serious crimes. Upholding the principles of serving, protecting, and caring for people, regardless of their race, is crucial in maintaining a fair and just society.

DETECTIVE RICHARD NESTLE PRETENDS AND LIES TO ROBBERY VICTIM THAT THERE IS WARRANTS IN THE SYSTEM FOR THE FELON THAT COMMITTED THE CRIME BUT NO WARRANT EXISTED WEEKS LATER WHEN FELON WAS ARRESTED ON ANOTHER CHARGE IN THE BORDERING COUNTY OF SHELBY COUNTY

It is very clear now that Detective Richard Nestle was involved in a PLOT to keep Felon, James Lester Logan from being prosecuted for the robbery and theft of Mr. Gooden home in Tipton County. From the beginning of the robbery after Mr. Gooden had gone to swear out the warrant for the crime that took place on Dec.22, 2007, about one week later, after the warrant had been sworn out, Detective Nestle assured Mr. Gooden that the warrants were out there. But it turned out that no warrants were out there. How the plot came to the light was that Logan got arrested in bordering, Shelby County for public intoxication around the last of Jan. 2008. Mr. Gooden received a phone call on that day of the arrest of Logan. Mr. Gooden that night called down to the Shelby County jail just to see if it was true. The officer on duty that spoke with Mr. Gooden told him that they had James Logan, and he was fixing to be released. Then Mr. Gooden asked, how is he being released with warrants on him for the robbery of his home out in Tipton County. The Officer then ask Mr. Gooden to hold on while he does some more checking in the system for warrants on Logan. He came back to the phone a short while later and told Mr. Gooden that he needed to have Tipton County get in touch with us if there is supposed to be warrants on Logan, because there were no active warrants in the system for James Lester Logan. Meanwhile Mr. Gooden calls the Tipton County sheriff department and spoke to a female officer about the matter. She had Mr. Gooden put on hold and made some phone calls. After a few minutes she came back to the phone and told Mr. Gooden that it had been taken care of and that Logan wouldn’t be getting out. About an hour later Mr. Gooden calls back down to Shelby County jail and spoke with the same officer and he stated to Mr. Gooden that it was a good thing that you called down here because Logan would have been long gone if you had not called. And that Tipton County had arranged to have Logan held in jail without warrants being in the system for him. So why did Detective Nestle lie to the victim about warrants being out there as he stated to Mr. Gooden. When in fact that there were no warrants anywhere in the system for James Lester Logan. It is plain to see now what Detective Nestle was up to, if you look at the facts of the case and Logan being At large now after being convicted of another Felon. After Logan was convicted of this Felon, he was put under house arrest but escape from under house arrest and fled the State of Tennessee back to Florida in November of 2008. Mr. Gooden received a tip in Dec. 2008 that Logan was in Florida and had been arrested in Tampa FL. Mr. Gooden goes over to Tipton County sheriff department to inform Detective Nestle of Mr. Logan whereabouts and Detective Nestle lie again right in Mr. Gooden face about getting the warrants out there. Detective Nestle was more concern about how Mr. Gooden was able to find out that Logan was in Florida and that Mr. Gooden had a copy of Logan arrest record. Since that date of Dec. 2008, Logan has been arrested two more times in Fl. for crimes not related to Mr. Gooden robbery case and there are no warrants in the NCIC for Mr. Logan. The last time he was arrested on July 1st. 2009 for a Battery case against someone. So, what’s up with all the lies about warrants being out there. Is this a case involved with OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE.

DETECTIVE RICHARD NESTLE PLOT THICKENS NOT ONLY DID HE LIE TO ROBBERY VICTIM ABOUT WARRANTS BEING OUT THERE FOR FELON JAMES LESTER LOGAN THAT COMMITTED THE ROBBERY BUT NESTLE ALSO BLOCKED REPORT OF ROBBERY BEING REPORTED TO THE NATIONAL CRIME INFORMATION CENTER
